Project Description: Conducted asbestos survey of a 100-year-old 13-story office building in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. Designed asbestos removal scope and bid documents. Prepared environmental portion of grant application for environmental cleanup and economic development. Provided on-site air quality monitoring and clearance air testing during asbestos removal.

Project Description: Part of a Company acquisition due diligence team evaluating 30 natural gas compressor stations. Parks’ role was to evaluate and advise in the area of asbestos compliance, liability and material extent. Acquisition price $1.3B

Project Location: 4 Sites in Minneapolis area

Project Description: Survey, Audit, Sample and Report on hazardous materials, including asbestos, requiring removal prior to building demolition. Prepare hazardous material removal budget estimates. Sites occupied by large, old buildings. Environmental survey work done in anticipation of building demolition and site redevelopment.

Project Description: Asbestos material inspection and sampling of outdoor land at a former petroleum refinery. Evaluation included some subsurface investigation and sampling. Prepared asbestos management plan for site and soil excavation activities. Removed surface and subsurface asbestos materials.

Project Description: Demolition of structures (former gas station, houses, and garages). Full foundation removal and filling of hole; final clean up and grading of site.

Excavation and removal of subsurface tanks (two 50 gallon; one 1,000 gallon) and two hydraulic lifts at former gas station site.

Project Description: Conducted asbestos survey of a 75 year old 100 unit apartment building with banquet facilities and health club prior to renovation. Designed, subcontracted and managed asbestos removal and interior demolition.

Project Description: Conducted asbestos surveys for this national retailer as part of multi-site acquisition due diligence, and in anticipation of facility remodeling.

Project Description: Completed abatement design, management and oversight of abatement activities to assist client in the prompt completion of store remodeling, minor departmental remodeling and major maintenance activity. Served as prime abatement contractor and consultant.

Project Name: Phase I Environmental Assessments

Project Description: Conducted Phase I EA of large (10-15 acre) warehouse sites and retail mall anchor store sites. EA conducted according to client specifications and ASTM guidelines.

Project Description: Conducted indoor air quality investigation in one large warehouse and numerous mall anchor retail stores in response to occupant complaints of poor air quality. Investigation and sampling completed for chemical and microbiological agents, in addition to an evaluation of building envelope and HVAC equipment.

Project Description: Completed abatement oversight and air monitoring on four large asbestos fireproofing abatements, one large asbestos floor tile abatement (>200k SF), and numerous smaller asbestos abatement projects. Daily project documentation and air sampling results e-mailed to client following each work shift.

Type of Project: Microbiological and Legionella Investigations

Project Description: Completed two separate investigations: The first was an indoor air quality investigation to evaluate the workplace of an employee experiencing asthmatic symptoms and physical discomfort resulting in lost workdays. The second investigation concerned a worker who possibly contracted Legionnaires Disease from the workplace.
