Asbestos Surveys
The level of investigation, sampling and reporting depends on your needs: from thorough, complete and precise pre-construction or pre-demolition surveys.......to cursory or limited material surveys. The organization and presentation of data coupled with CAD-generated drawings in our Asbestos Survey Reports sets us apart from others. Our survey reports include:

• Color-coded Drawings (in AutoCAD) illustrating asbestos material locations
• Area/room specific listing of asbestos material type, location and amount

• Asbestos material hazard assessment

• Asbestos material abatement cost estimate
• Photos of discovered asbestos materials

 

Asbestos Management Plans and Operations and Maintenance

Once the Asbestos Survey is complete, Parks can prepare Asbestos Management Plans for your building or facility.  The Management Plan is prepared according to EPA and State Rule for such plans by an Accredited Asbestos Management Planner.   As part of the Management Plan preparation, or as a separate task, we can review and inspect your building for damaged, potentially hazardous asbestos material situations.  We then prepare a plan to mitigate and clean-up any asbestos material hazard; coordinate with an asbestos contractor to perform the repair and clean-up; and oversee the clean-up activities.

 

Expert Testimony / Document and Site Reviews
Our deep background in all asbestos issues and topics makes Parks a credible and sound choice for document and site review, and expert testimony.  We have experience advising and providing expert testimony on asbestos and mold issues to lawyers and insurance companies.

Asbestos Abatement Design
Parks'’ extensive experience in asbestos removal design and oversight enables us to identify methods and phasing options that can reduce project time and cost. We routinely prepare asbestos removal specifications and bid packages for projects ranging from $10,000 to $1M.

Accurate, thorough and detailed project specifications help you get competitive bids, and minimize abatement change orders and delays.

 

Abatement Oversight
Parks provides on-site air quality testing and oversight of asbestos abatement work. Our computer generated daily field logs differentiate us from our competition. These field reports include pictures and drawings of that day’s progress and events along with air quality sampling data. these field reports can be transmitted electronically to those who need the information at the end of a work shift.  Very few, if any, environmental consulting firms provide our high level of project documentation.

 

OSHA Two Hour Asbestos Awareness Training

The OSHA General Industry and Construction Standards for Asbestos require that employees who may come in contact with asbestos materials during the course of their work duties receive a Two Hour Class on Asbestos Awareness.  Parks can perform this training at your facility and customize the training to your workplace and building.  We can train 2 to 20 staff members at a session.

Turnkey Asbestos Services
If desired, Parks will subcontract asbestos abatement and complete your project in turnkey fashion. Our extensive abatement design, management and oversight experience, coupled with our $5M general and professional liability insurance limits, means Parks can be your one point of contact to handle it all.
